THORESBY AUGUST 11th-14th August 2006 The pictures show various vehicles attending this years "Fun Run" and also the main display and judging on the sunday. The event is held yearly for Morris Register members and as can be seen is well worth attending	The Morris Register rally was attended again this year. We arrived on the Thursday and met up with other members already arrived. The event this year was being run by the new events team but followed a similar format. The Saturday consists of driving games for the members wishing to participate but for others many auto jumble / spares stalls are availible on both days. At noon a run through the countryside is organised for all the old vehicles of about 20-25 miles ending at a pub for refreshments. This year the rain stayed off for the run and we had a good turn out. This year the Wolsey Register teamed up with us on the site which also boosted the Morris turnout as numbers attending was down due to the forcast of poor weather.The evening consists of a band and bar held in the renovated buildings of Thoresby Hall. The architecture is worth seeing. The Sunday is the main day for all and the vehicles all assembled for judging and viewing. Unfortunatly the sporadick rain spoiled the day so the chatting was between showers. The day finished with prize giving brought forward due to the sudden onset of rain but I was pleased to accept 2nd in class for my car. A very enjoyable weekend for all members .Thanks to all involved
